I am renting out my apartment in Maxvorstadt for the duration of my professional stay in Berlin.
The rental is for one person or a couple, not as a shared flat.
There are 3 bright rooms, kitchen, bathroom, and hallway available. The apartment has a total of 55 m² and is located on the second floor of the rear building, no street noise, view into the courtyard. For a Maxvorstadt address, it is surprisingly quiet here.
Fully furnished and ready to move in immediately: bed, desk, kitchen with all dishes, washing machine, towels, and bed linen. You only need a suitcase. Internet is running and included in the price.
Especially suitable if you are in Munich for a few months for work, just moving here and need a temporary solution, have a limited stay at LMU or TU, or your own apartment is currently being renovated. It is a five-minute walk to Stiglmaierplatz, about ten minutes to Königsplatz, Pinakotheken, and both universities, and a quarter of an hour to the main train station.
I work from home myself, so the apartment is well equipped for that: stable Wi-Fi, a proper workspace with daylight, and quiet for video calls.
Period: 15 November 2026 to 15 May 2027. A shorter duration from four months is possible.
Unfortunately, no smoking or pets.

Maxvorstadt in Munich is characterized by its vibrant mix of historic architecture and modern flair. Excellent public transport connections are ensured by various U-Bahn, S-Bahn, bus, and tram lines, including the U2 and tram 27. The neighborhood offers good infrastructure and a friendly community, highly appreciated by young professionals and students as well as families and seniors.
