Description
The apartment is rented fully furnished initially for six months. It is especially suitable for commuters, project staff, or people looking for a ready-to-move-in apartment in Cologne for a limited period.
The rental period is initially planned from 1.11.2026 to 31.04.2026. Since I will be abroad during this time, there is basically the possibility to extend the rental agreement afterwards by mutual agreement. Whether and for what period an extension is possible will be clarified in good time, at the latest three months before the end of the rental contract.
A reliable and careful person is sought who will treat the apartment like their own home during my absence.
The living room is equipped with a sofa, TV, dartboard, cabinet, and table and offers direct access to the balcony. The bedroom contains a double bed, wardrobe, and desk. The bedroom also has access to the balcony and a complete window front. The windows are equipped with blackout blinds. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes, among other things, an oven, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine. The kitchen is somewhat aged but fully functional and not broken. Items for daily use such as dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils are also available.
Further equipment includes Wi-Fi, workspace, smart TV, automatic heating control. Personal items will of course be largely removed before renting, so there is enough storage space available.
The monthly rent is 900 (negotiable) euros plus heating, water, electricity (300€ because of heating season). The deposit is 2 cold rents and must be paid in cash.
Pets are possible by arrangement. Smoking is not desired in the apartment but is of course allowed on the balcony.
The apartment is located in a quiet/green environment. Shopping facilities, restaurants, and public transport are reachable within a few minutes. Train line 16 is about 10 minutes on foot but can be reached faster by a bus (which departs directly around the corner). I personally do not use the train much but usually take an e-scooter or car to depart from the Michaelshoven or Sürth stop. From Sürth, the main station can be reached in about 15 minutes. Parking is available free of charge directly at the residential complex. However, these parking spaces do not belong to the apartment. There is no guarantee. In the 6 years I have lived here...
